Laurie CRAVEN Obituary

On July 15, 2025 at Wairau Hospital, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Patricia (Pat) and formerly Meryle. A loved father and father-in-law of Brenda and Tony McAlpine; Wendy and Anthony Beverley (Wellington); Sue and Mark Woodmore; and Neil and Michelle Craven. Da to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A loved brother and brother-in-law of Ray and Mary (dec); Barbie (dec) and Bob (dec); Allen and Helen; and Julie and Ray. Special thanks to Dr Emily Marfell, the staff at Aberleigh Rest Home and Wairau Hospital for their wonderful care of Pud. In accordance with Pud's wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

So Sorry to hear the lost of Pud. I have such amazing memories of Dad and Pud over the years, they were such awesome friends. I had the pleasure to do a season at Apple and Pear Board under Pud. What a boss and amazing personality and gosh he could make you laugh. Every time I think of Dad I think of Pud. I hope there are now reunited. Thinking of you all. xx

My dog visited Pud regularly as a Canine Friend in Aberleigh. He was one of her favourite people there and I loved watching his face light up when he spotted her coming in. I will miss having a chat and my dog will miss the great cuddles he gave her. Condolences to his family.
