On November 27, 2023, passed away at his home with family at his side, aged 94 years and 14 days. A loved husband of Lis. Much loved father and father-in-law of Claire, Mark and Anne, and grandad of Lauren, Bryn and Kody. A Funeral Service for Les will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, on Monday, December 4, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. For those who are unable to attend, the service can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.

To Lis and family,

Please accept my sincere condolences.
You and Les (and the family) are people that made my busy life enjoyable by your kind, friendly and warm personalities.
When I retired it was not the work that I missed but the people who entered my life, not as patients, but as friends and you all certainly fitted into that category.
He will be missed by many people.
