HESS, Lydia Ursula

With great sorrow we farewell our beloved Lydia. Wife of Sylwester, mother of Jolanta, Karina, Claudia and Simone. Grandmother of Sarah, Gabriel, Roman, Leila, Sophia, Vincent, Luka, Finn and Sophie. Great-grandmother of Louis, Lea and Greta. Adored mother-in-law, sister, aunt and nurturer to all those she took under her wing. Protector and matriarch to our family, she passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 19, 2016, as beautiful as ever, aged 78 years. Lydia is our family legend and we wish to warmly invite all those who knew her or of her to celebrate her inspirational life with us at St Mary's Church on Monday, September 26, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium. Flowers can be sent to Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, Blenheim.
