Margaret GILL Obituary
Our darling Maggie left us on Monday, January 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Tony, loved and cherished mother of Maria, Ellise and James, stepmother of Daniel, Patrick and Kieran, adored grandmother of Michael, Raegan, Aysha and Caitlyn.
She will be terribly missed, but will be with us forever in our hearts and souls.
Messages may be sent to The Gill Family, c/- P O Box 110, Blenheim 7240. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Marlborough would be appreciated and may be made at the service or online to a/c 03-1369-0365207-00 Ref. GILL. A farewell for Maggie will be held at the Sowman's Mayfield Chapel, cnr Hutcheson and Parker Streets, Blenheim, at 11.00am on Friday, January 5, followed by cremation at the Sowman Crematorium. The service will be livestreamed and details may be accessed via our website www.sowmans.co.nz/upcoming-funerals

Am saddened to hear our lovely Maggie has lost her battle with cancer. She fought hard but sometimes winning is not the solution. Loved knowing Maggie the few short years I sang with her at A Cappella Belles. She was an inspiration and was always one to give encouragement. I have no words to ease your pain and loss, but may you all find strength and courage in the memories and stories you all share. She may be gone from us, but she will be in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
