We have all been thinking of you all today Ross Matthew Vince Amy and families. Marie as mum always said she didn't have daughterinlaws so you were always my sister and best friend. You were our bridesmaid 46 years ago and then our kids all were much the same ages so we were always comparing notes can remember one night in Luggate trying to get 6 littlies to sleep. As Sal said your talents were huge I was always envious of your way with words you always you always got it just right. I will so miss our phone calls the hours we spent talking will be irreplaceable. Who will I call when I can't work out an answer in a word game you always came up trumps. We also treasure the time we spent with you earlier in the year. Ross I will always be just at the end of the phone and will be there for you kids any time you want to talk.
All our love
Judy Robin and families

Ross, Matt, Vince, Amy and families - we are thinking of you all today and wishing that we could be there with you. We will have a toast to Marie with Sarah, Kip and Jude in Queenstown tonight.

Marie - I remember being junior bridesmaid at your wedding in Wanaka - one of my first memories of you and such a very special day when you joined our family and became my second big sister.
I remember going to the Wanaka Show with you and Ross when I was about 5. I was allowed to take your precious doll.
I remember staying with you and Ross when you had the shop in Luggate - going swimming in the creek and making friends with the locals.
I remember coming to visit in Timaru - Coonoor Rd and out at Salisbury.
I remember all your wonderful talents - painting, cake decorating, flower arranging, sewing, genealogy (it is wonderful to have such an extensive record of our family history), upholstery ... I remember you made a Barbie birthday cake for me once. It was amazing and far too good to eat.
I remember the barbecues in Wanaka when we were camping at Glendhu, especially the loganberries for dessert!
I remember our Chandler family Christmas in Clyde in 2010 which was really special. Yes we will do it again and will try to get Matthew, Chrissie and family there too.
I remember our visit to see you and Ross in your home in Picton in April this year - tinged with sadness but a wonderful memory for us all.
I remember and always loved our chats on the phone. I am reading Mean Streets Kind Hearts at the moment - I'm sure you would enjoy it. And I have daffodils flowering! Far too early I know but the weather has been so mild. Wonder what the grandkids are up to at the moment? I'm sure they will continue to make you very proud of them. And Ross' golf? ...
I know I was never very good at phone calls (think you reminded Ross of that just a few weeks ago!) but I promise to try harder.
You will always be special to our family and will be in our hearts and memories forever.
