Merle WALDRON Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Aged 89 years. Loved wife of the late Steve, loved mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Nick, Kevin and Karen, Sue and John, Maggie and Steve. Loved grandmother and great-grandmother. A dear friend of Graham. Messages may be sent to the Waldron Family, c/- PO Box 110, Blenheim 7240. A funeral service for Merle will be held at Sowman's Mayfield Chapel, cnr Hutcheson and Parker Streets, Blenheim at 2.00pm, on Thursday, October 31. The wine will be flowing in heaven now Merle, Steve, Grace and Brian are together again. I was so sorry to discover this today, I saw Merle in 2016 when I went back to Blenheim for the wine festival and we had a good old catch up. Such great memories of growing up with the Waldron clan and so lucky to have Merle and Steve as my godparents. Sending much love from the Curry clan xxxx

merle you were our lighthouse shinning bright showing the way keeping us on the right bearings in our lives we can still see the light if we close our eyes it will never go out we know this day will come but we dont want it to come what a shock it was .........
