MEAD, Mervyn Phillip (Phil):

Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Public Hospital on Saturday, November 26, 2022, aged 88 years. Loved husband of Emily (formerly Eaton) (nee Gibson) and stepfather to Gerald and Lisa, Stephen and Katrina, Robert and Colleen and Dorothea. Grandad to 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Merv and Mary Mead of Cobden and brother to Joan and Wally Ellis, Anne and Ron Thomson, Claire and Matai Takarua, Kevin and Annette Mead, and uncle to many. Private cremation has been held at the family's wishes.
Rest in peace Phil.

New Phil from wee girl when he had pub my late grandparents uesd go in there on way sounds Phil was later my supervisor at zoo park last saw him in Christchurch when he was working for farmers my condolences to his family regards Tracey Hendry
