Michael BRIGGS Obituary

Beloved partner of Deb, devoted father of Elizabeth, David, and Caroline, and cherished grandfather to Emily, Isobel, Chloe, Sebastian, Briar, William, Thomas, and Henry, has passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Bethsaida Retirement Village. Age 74 years. He will also be dearly missed by brother John, and Lynne, Rhys, Lucy and Rory. Michael's wisdom, kindness, humour and love will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy lives on through the memories we shared and the impact he had on our lives. Messages may be sent to the Briggs Family, c/- PO Box 110, Blenheim 7240. A funeral service for Michael will be held at Sowman's Mayfield Chapel, cnr Hutcheson and Parker Streets, at 11.00am, on Wednesday, August 14, followed by private cremation at the Sowman Crematorium.

Lyn was my teacher at mgc for 2 years both years we went stay at the farm I remember Michael taking us out hunting rip Michael condolences to his family xx

We had a great time coaching the boys football team. Michael & I had great success though his broken arm while ice skating was not the best end to our tournament in Gore.
