Ngaire MCKENDRY Obituary

(nee Price):
On October 12, 2022, passed away peacefully at Ashwood Park Hospital, in her 91st year. Loved wife of the late Bruce and the late Claude Whitehead. Much adored mother and mother-in-law of Sandra and Bill Banham (Sydney), Denise and Tim Finch, David and Donna Whitehead (Perth), Tracey and Michael Lyon, and Kelly and Grant Stewart. A treasured grandmother of Yasmin; Penny, Lucy; Emma, Tom, Claudia; Amie, Harrison; and Eva, and a great-grandmother of her 13 great-grandchildren. To Sandra, Denise, David, Tracey, Kelly and families. So sorry to hear of the passing of your much-loved Mum. We remember our friendship with your Mum and Dad and the fun times we had all those years ago. Ngaire was always the same and made us so welcome in her home. You will have wonderful memories of a lovely Mum, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Her family was her life and she will be so missed. She seemed to be forever young. Thinking of you all. My best friend, companion, confidante, has passed away. "My Mum". Missed dearly by your adoring granddaughter Amie, husband Dave and great-grandchildren Ella and George (Brisbane); grandson Harrison and wife Libby (New York). "Mum was very proud of you all". Special thanks to Marlia, Leslie and Jill for your wonderful care at Ashwood Park Retirement Village. A big thank you to Ngaire and Mandy, Mum's hairdressers over the years. She treasured those visits.
