Born January 13, 1925. Passed away peacefully November 25, 2015, at Selwyn Park Rest Home, aged 90 years. Loved daughter of Isabel and Alexander Simmons. Much loved sister of Audrey, Aileen, Fay and Jennifer (all deceased). Dearly loved wife of the late Desmond. Much loved mum of Paddy and Shari (Canada), Jan and Steve, wee Peter (deceased), Mike and Annwyn, Paul and Jo (London). Loved nana Pat of Michaela, Tyler, Christina and Bryan; Tim, Jodi and Braden; Steven, Daniel and Alex; Sam and Harry. Loving great-grandma of Miyah, Ashtan, Cadeyn, Jai, Jayla, Tahlia, Connor, Piper, San, Carson and Amelia Esm.
"Mum you have been the heart and soul of our family, and our rock. You have instilled your values in all of us and we have such special memories. Rest peacefully."
The family would like to thank the staff at Selwyn Park for their compassion and care of mum over the last 2 months. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at St Stephens Anglican Church, 88 Church Street, Onerahi, Whangarei, at 1.30pm on Monday, November 30, 2015, followed by burial at Onerahi Cemetery.
