Dear Annette and family. I was so very sad to hear of Pat's passing. I have fond memories of many discussions we would have at work and outside of work. Russell would have been pleased to know that Pat was being sent off on the same day as him as he had a lot of respect for him. RIP Pat's. Thank you for your kind donations to Parkinsons.

Very pleasant memories of Pat. from Around 1973 when an apprentice Cycle/Motorcycle Mechanic at Robin Hood Cycle/ Motorcycle Shop in High St. He Came over Often from The Nth Island via hopping into a Bristol Freighter for the journey over, to Help Mrs Lyford Manage the Business After His Dad, Roy Unexpectedly Died Suddenly (another Great Man I Was Privileged to have known, & as my Boss) had marvellous conversations with Pat. Which Inspired me to Gain My Pilots License When Still Living in Blenheim. The Lyford's Were in That Era of Terrific People/Folks to Converse With

Our heartfelt condolences to all the wonderful family of Pat. A kind, caring and thoughtful and humble man. We looked upon Pat´s achievements and success with great admiration, knowing that life had given him some difficult hurdles to overcome of which he achieved all but the last. I am sure we are all comforted to know that he had enjoyed a full and happy life and has left behind an equally loving and caring family. Love, John, Lorraine & families xxxxxx
