My condolences to Paul's family at this difficult time.
I hadn't seen Paul for sometime but was fortunate to have been at Viard College at the same time, played football with him over the years, and would later end up working at the same plumbing company .
Once you had met Paul you never forgot him.
Warm hearted ,always smiling,
and always laughing.
Whatever Paul did it was always 100 percent .
Gone too soon.

Well Paul. You, Tina and I had many adventures that we could share about our time in Rabaul PNG. Vunapope, Arabam, the yellow haus. However, the one that comes to mind is the day the river was flooding and you decided you could cross it. Tina , I think, was all for it, while I started to say my prayers. As we crossed, water wet our feet and started being pushed aside, you were bloody determined to do it. Many local people on the other side clapped and howled, but all I remember are their wide eyes as things changed. Whether it was my prayers, Tina's adventurous nature and/ or your determination, we made it to the other side.
What relief. The angels or someone were with us. That's Paul and Tina. Faith and adventure and I love you both.

It's hard to say goodbye but I know the angels are with you. God bless, Paul. You'll never be forgotten.

All our love Mary-Ann and John in Nelson
