Well Paul. You, Tina and I had many adventures that we could share about our time in Rabaul PNG. Vunapope, Arabam, the yellow haus. However, the one that comes to mind is the day the river was flooding and you decided you could cross it. Tina , I think, was all for it, while I started to say my prayers. As we crossed, water wet our feet and started being pushed aside, you were bloody determined to do it. Many local people on the other side clapped and howled, but all I remember are their wide eyes as things changed. Whether it was my prayers, Tina's adventurous nature and/ or your determination, we made it to the other side.
What relief. The angels or someone were with us. That's Paul and Tina. Faith and adventure and I love you both.
It's hard to say goodbye but I know the angels are with you. God bless, Paul. You'll never be forgotten.
All our love Mary-Ann and John in Nelson
