DUKE, Peter Lee:
Passed away peacefully on July 5, 2015, on his 93rd birthday at Maida Vale Retirement Village, New Plymouth. Loving and loved husband of Pat for 64 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Charles and Denise, Michael, Bernice and Philippa. Cherished grandfather of Rochelle and Marty, James and Linden, Amy and Hamish, and Adele and Scott. Adored great-grandfather of Caitlin, Thalia, Eleanor, Cooper, Nixon, William and KFC. A special thank you to the staff at Mountain View Rest Home and St John Ambulance for their loving care. A private cremation service for Peter will be held. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Peter's life on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 11am at One Burgess Hill located at 1A Burgess Hill Road, New Plymouth.

Peter was a class act. The members of the Marlborough Golf Club still benefit from all the tireless work he did on the course. He will be sorely miss by all.

To remember Peter for me is easy - seeing
him sitting with his mates after golf having a drink. Always willing to help with the working bees chopping wood at the club. His cheery welcome when he
saw you, a 'gentle man' and a gentleman.
My thoughts are with all the family, often have special thoughts when I
pass your home in Blenheim.
