Peter GARDINER Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2020, at the Nelson Tasman Hospice, aged 82. A loving husband and life companion to Jan for 60 years. Loved and treasured father and father-in-law of Tony (deceased), Leanne and Brian Hind (Australia), and Daniel (Christchurch). Loved Granddad of Aaron and Lisa, Matthew, Nathan and Katee, and Riley. Great-Granddad Pete of 5. Loved son of Max and Mavis (both deceased), and loving brother of Barry, Ken and Margaret, and the late Trevor and Ivan, and a loved brother-in-law. To honour Peter's wishes a private cremation has taken place.

I have known this wonderful man most of my life living next door to uncle Peter and Aunty Jan in vanguard street Nelson as a child we did some amazing things both our family's They moved over to Australia not long after we did and we travel lived in Bennalla he even gave me permission to get married and still have the letter Uncle Peter will always be a part of our lives for ever in my Heart Corrina Rose

I was one proud person to call your my dad, life is not quite the same without you in your chair, Your humor your wit it's something we all will miss. Nelson has lost a great man of knowledge and mechanical advise.
Dad I'm sorry I wasn't their to say goodbye and to hold your hand and tell you Mum will be fine. You fought a battle and still made everyone laugh. Thank you for been my dad RIP my hero your loving daughter Leanne (Sparky)
