Phyllis PACEY Obituary

Phyllis passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, in Kaikoura, at the age of 88. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill Pacey. Phyllis was a treasured mum and mum-in-law to Susan and Luke, Bridget and Ollie, Geoff and Kath, and the late Brennan. She was the beloved Gran of William, Jacob, Nicholas, Hayden, and Anna. A true matriarch, Phyllis's warmth, compassion, wisdom, intelligence, and wonderful sense of humour enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff at the Long Term Care Unit, Kaikoura Hospital, for their exceptional care of Phyllis. Messages may be addressed to: Pacey Family, P O Box 175, Kaikoura 7300. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Kaikoura Hospital Long Term Care Unit. A private interment will be held for immediate family. A celebration of Phyllis's life will be held at Te Ana Caves, 92 State Highway 1, Kaikoura, on Friday, January 31 from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

A lovely, lovely lady will be so missed by her family.
Phil, you were so generous in your giving and
caring. Although our meetings were mostly on
the golf course we had the most fun times.
I was forever grateful for the time you bought
Carol up to see me in Blenheim, and your
empathy at that time. Special people cannot
be replaced, but keep the special memories
alive, Phil will never be far away.
