SCHUYL, Pietertje Hendrika (Pini): On Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Maxwell Care, surrounded by her family. Aged 83 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Henk, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Mariska and Dennis Gifford, Rosie and Ross Broadbridge, and Rick and Maureen. Loved Oma of Steph and Tim; Nigel and Pip; Bec, Emma and Toby; and a cherished Great Oma. A loved sister and aunt. Messages c/- 4 Roussel Place, Blenheim 7201. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Parkinsons New Zealand would be appreciated and may be made at the service or sent to PO Box 10-392 Wellington 6143. Special thanks to the staff of Maxwell Care for all their loving care of Pini. A Funeral service for Pini will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Henry Street, Blenheim at 1.30 p.m., on Thursday, June 13, followed by private cremation at the Sowman Crematorium.

Pini and Henk were wonderful neighbours. My kids loved visiting over the years when we lived in Whitney Street. May Pini's confused mind now be at peace.

I am so very, very sorry to hear of the loss of your wonderful mother. Prue just emailed me the sad news. Your mom was one of the neatest people I ever met, anywhere in the world. I am so lucky to have known her.
