Robin MacLACHLAN Obituary
Robin was the dearly beloved husband and best friend of Jan, loved dad of Scott and Paula and Warwick and Nicky, loved stepdad of Sue, Kathryn and Aaron, and Richard and Madeleine. He was grandad to Alice, Jordan, Amy, and Zoe; Popples to Sophie, Max, Nina, Blair, Sophia, Hugo, and Thomas, and the great-grandad and Popples to Spencer, Sebastian, and Macie. Finally, he was the loyal companion of his special furry friend, Lucas. Robin passed suddenly but peacefully in Christchurch Hospital surrounded by family. Thank you to all the caring staff at Wairau and Christchurch Hospitals. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John's Ambulance and our rescue helicopters are appreciated. Messages may be addressed to the family of late Dr Robin MacLachlan, PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch, 8148. A private cremation has been held.

Dr MacLachlan was my doctor for more than 50 years. He was more than a doctor and more a family friend. I am sad to hear of his passing and send my love to Jan and the family.

Robin was my GP for many years and I greatly respected him. A good old fashioned kindly doctor who was a great support through my first bout of cancer. I so miss having a decent doctor like him, nowadays. Sincerest condolences to Jan, his beautiful wife and too his family.
