Ronald Ashley (Ron):
Passed away on June 25, 2018, at Oakwoods Rest Home, Richmond, Nelson. After a brief illness, in his 88th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Fay, loved father and father-in-law of Ashley and Barbara (Timaru), Janice and Willie Gulbransen (Richmond), Brian and Hella (Denmark), and Kathleen and Chris Bull (Christchurch). Loved Grandad of Jeff and Kate, David and Mary, Jayne and Alan Ferguson, Amy Gulbransen, Tracey and Mike Sutherland, Tim Gulbransen, Richard, Christina and Dom, and Thomas, George Bull and Holly, Brigette Bull, and his great-grandchildren Stella, Winston, Ruby and Eilidh. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Oakwoods Rest Home for their loving care of Ron over the last seven years. Messages to 5 D'Urville Rise, Richmond 7020. Ron's funeral service will be held at the Shone and Shirley Chapel, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson, on Friday, June 29, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Ron. He will be sadly missed by you all.
He was a great club man life member for Renwick Rugby club. Ron use to tell some great stories at committee meetings. some meeting would last till 1am
