I had the pleasure of serving under Ross at the Redwood Wine Club at the Redwood Tavern for 3 years when he was Chairman and I was Secretary. Sorry to hear of his departure. A good man, always willing to support the local community and lead by example. Fond memories. Tony Hay

So sorry to hear of Ross's passing. Always good to see him around Blenny .He always had a smile and often had a joke to tell. A gent all the way. We sat together at the movies and watched ' Dunkirk ' . I carry that memory

My memories of Ross. Great memories of the family Christmas gatherings at Warepa, Balclutha and Edendale. Ross's wonderful sense of dry humour, hints of our late Uncle Jack. Cars were always immaculate, hints of his late Uncle Jimmy. Excelled at what-ever he did. We are all poorer with his passing.

Lesley I was so sad to read of Ross´s passing. Ross was a lovely man, with a dry wit and you were such a strong unit, you are going to miss him a lot. I have very fond memories of Jaycee escapades with the Ayson´s, Hipkin´s and Robertson´s (three of the musketeers sadly now missing). You and the whole family are in my thoughts.

So very sorry to hear of of Ross's passing. We were at primary school at Warepa together and then at secondary school in Balclutha. Last caught up with Ross at the South Otago High School 75th Jubilee in 2001. The attached photo is the only one that I have of him from that time.

Condolences to family and friends. Michelle, (I remember you from college) so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a distant cousin (through Paterson/Ayson families at Middlemarch). He was also one of the real estate agents involved with selling up my Grandfather's land - my late mum always found him to be a great guy to deal with. May he Rest in Peace
