On November 13, 2023, unexpectedly, at Wairau Hospital, Blenheim, aged 81 years. Loved daughter of the late Mae and Jimmy Mitchell (Reefton), and sister and sister-in-law of Fraser and Gordon and Donna. Loved wife of the late Peter, and mother of Andy and Jacqui, Watty and Fi (both deceased), Pete and Trish, and Jocelyn. Granny of Maighan, Gabriella, Mitchell, Xavier, Christian; and Keghan, Special friend of Marie. Dear Watty - so sad to know you have had your time on this earth come to an end. The first memory that popped into my head upon reading your notice was when you would call on the landline looking for Mum. I would answer & you would be right on in with "Hi Anne" and off you would go on whatever your topic was. I had to wait for you to briefly stop before I could say "hang on I will get her" - laughter would ensue! And your favourite comment to us girls after a uniform fitting or seeing us eating the not so good stuff - "I will take it in but I will NOT let it out!" I remember sucking it in believe me! You will be missed lovely lady, your wit, generosity of time & caring & bossiness too! Rest in peace & love Mrs Watson
