USMAR Val (nee Boardman) (formerly Kaveney - Passed away peacefully on August 9, at home after a short illness. In her 80th year. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Tony. Much loved mother and mother in-law of Mark and Natalie Kaveney, Pam and Steve Mitchell, Kath Kaveney and Kevin Perry, Lynda and Geoff Siave and Chris Usmar. Adored Nana of Connor and Grace Kaveney, Marc, Sam and Jack Mitchell, Shaun and Rheannan Mills, Tom Simpson, Irasa, Eli and Jacob Siave, Tori-lee and James Usmar, Great nana to Locky and Meelah Mills. Adored eldest daughter of the late Jack and Inez Boardman, and beloved sister of John Boardman.
'Forever in our hearts'A celebration of Val's life will be held at 56 Marlborough Crescent, Richmond, Nelson between 2.00 and 4.00pm on TUESDAY, August 13. A private family service will be held at the Gardens of the World. In lieu of flowers donations to the Nelson Region Hospice Trust, PO Box 283, Nelson would be appreciated.
