Dear cousin Huia, have just heard today that your dear man has now relocated to glory! While we never met, Bill and I, knowing the woman you are and the heart you have I know he was a good and godly man. May our wonderful Lord and Saviour fill the spaces for you and your family. Rich blessings.

We have very happy memories of our times with Bill ("Sweet William") when the O'Briens were living in Palmerston North. We have followed their progress over the years, and thank God for what they accomplished pastoring in Picton.
Our prayers are with Huia and the family.
Love and Blessings,
Rodney and Jean Francis (Paraparaumu).

Arohanui kia koe Whaea Huia me ou Tamariki Whanau. We were honoured to be singing the Mori ODE beside Matua at the Picton cenotaph ANZAC morning. Even though the word koroheketia was replaced with Kaumtuatia Matua never changed he would say Koroheketia in acknowledgement to the 28th Mori Battalion (I believe). Noreira e te ope toa e rere ana marunga tou korowai ki o Mtua Tpuna me tu koe ki te taha o Ihu Karaiti te timatanga te mutunga, okioki.
E kore rtou e koroheketia penei ia ttou kua mahue nei, e kore hoki rtou e ngoikore, ahakoa
pehea inga ahuatanga o te w, i te hekenga atu o te r, tae noa ki te aranga mai i te ata ka maumahara tonu ttou kia koutou. Arohanui Te Rerenga o Te R Kapahakaxxxx
