Lawrie, you were an inspiration and mentor to me when I started my career as a dairy scientist. I will be eternally grateful for your guidance. You will be missed, and you will be remembered. Sympathies and condolences to Doreen and the Creamer family.

We have missed you being here in Palmerston North, and remember you well from the days of developing "holey Cheese" on the X.ray tables at Palmerston North Hospital. Also the Saturday morning J.P.Courts where you were always willing to organise and man while the rest of us found other things to do.Deepest Sympathies to Doreen and family.
