Philip Campbell Obituary

Campbell, Philip
HORNELL - CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE TO BE HELD AT VICTORY CHRISTIAN CHURCH
A Celebration of life service for Bishop Philip Campbell will be held at Victory Christian Church on Sunday, October 13, at 3:30 p.m. Philip went home to be with the Lord on September 27, and was interred October 6th in Canisteo, N.Y. He ministered extensively in the Capital District in the 1980's and 1990's holding many tent revivals and revival meetings for many churches here and throughout the state and nation. He married his wife, Lisa, on November 11, 1984, and they ministered in music together for many years. In 1986, he founded Abundant Life Gospel Assembly in Albany and ministered there for many years. Later, he moved to Ohio, where he became Bishop of the Abundant Life Ministerial Fellowship. In the 2000's Philip had a major heart problem involving Atrial Fibrillation and was hospitalized in Rochester, N.Y. After which Philip moved back to his hometown area in the Southern Tier and continued to minister nationally and internationally.
All who knew Bishop Campbell are welcome to attend this Memorial Service at Victory Church, 1312 Central Ave., Colonie, N.Y. on the 13th.

My name is Monica McWilson from Pittsburgh PA. I recently learned about Bishop's passing. He and his wife had a wonderful music ministry together. I first met him through Reverend Beatrice Lamonte at the Temple of Faith Ministries in North Versailles PA. My condolences to his family. I also rejoice that Heaven gained an angel!
